The artist, who combines a variety of influences to create his unique artworks, rescues old toys and strips them down from any lovely characteristic, allowing for new readings to emerge.

The Beast

In his artistic practice, Fleisher uses contemporary and vintage images and objects that allow him to address the cultural noise that surrounds and engulfs every day life. He engages popular culture and his own spiritual and ideological continuity to provide a portal into a unconscious, collective dream state. He tries to shine some light onto things that often go undetected by modifying them into something beyond their original meanings.
