QueenieYinKwanWong is a talented young artist currently living in Hong Kong. She is interested in expressing her observations and feelings towards people in contemporary life.
She wants to explore and is questioning the addictive behavior which has reached epidemic proportions. Modern smart-phones, their over-usage and the anxiety that people face when they try to reduce time in using their phones is the theme of Wong’s most popular piece – Hand, Phone and Mouth Disease. She used gongbi style to combine traditional Chinese practice with one of the social issues of the contemporary life.
