The Ultraland of LOOK The Weird

LOOK The Weird, co-founder of the art collectives Peachbeach and The Weird, told us that The Night Sky Is Full Of Rainbows at Rabbit Eye Movement has been a year in the making. The solo exhibition digs deeper into the Ultraland, which exists in the head of LOOK, a dreamland where the artist can transform his thoughts about life and humanity into visual messages. The idea of rainbows in the night sky popped into the fertile mind of LOOK one night, a quick internet search revealing that they do indeed exist, with the artist finding many beautiful photographic images of night rainbows and hence, the concept for the exhibition was born.

The Night Sky Is Full Of Rainbows

The Night Sky Is Full Of Rainbows at Rabbit Eye Movement in Vienna, will take the viewer deep into the heart of Ultraland, a strange post-apocalyptic world. In this world created in the mind of LOOK, nature is taking over remains of a human society that has self-destructed, inhabited by a legion of militarized corpses who are fighting against the advancing nature, in an effort to keep the human race alive. One will find themselves lost in rainbow coloured jungles of foliage as a skull headed soldier reclines with his gun, or perhaps in a wasteland with the remains of the human civilisation. Alternatively you could be caught up in an orgy of these strange corpses, skull heads enclosed in glass helmets, wearing suits, shirts and ties as they clamber over each other.
