The boutique hotel has specially designed ‘Street Art Suites’ that allow guests to enjoy magnificent urban art in their hotel room. The artists painted each deluxe suite after their stay at the Hotel. With additional street art scattered throughout the entire hotel, the Cullen is a holistic street art experience for every enthusiast.
The nhow Berlin is a music and art hotel located directly on the banks of the river Spree in Friedrichshain, and at the epicenter of the music, fashion and creative scene. The hotel's two music studios and the street-art-wellness-area are the showpieces of nhow Berlin. The Street Art Collaboration Rookie vs. Radon, composed of Robert Matzke aka Rookie and David Radon have artistically designed the corridor in the wellness area.
The artists, graphic designers, and painters from different locations and environments were invited to design each room, in their own style, in the old seventeenth century building. Au Vieux Panier changes the rooms every year! Each artist, in their own way, succeeded in creating an amazing, distinct, and audacious atmosphere.
With rooms showcasing the contemporary works of emerging artists like Buff Monster or the London Police, the Hotel Des Arts is located in the heart of San Francisco’s French Quarter. Hotel des Arts is at the crossroads of Union Square, the Financial District and right next to the great gates of Chinatown. Hotel Des Art provides an environment in which people could experience art in a new and more immediate way. It’s just like staying in a gallery.
The Weinmeister Hotel in Berlin-Mitte with 84 rooms, located in the Mitte district, one of Berlin’s most dynamic areas, is aimed at both business travelers from the art, film, music, fashion and other creative fields, and leisure travelers. Urban Spaces Art Hotel Ibiza is an art project disguised as a boutique art hotel. Urban Spaces, once a blank canvas, now has all the markings of a veritable art project. Fresh life and fresh paint is added every single day, while being a fully operational hotel. From floor to ceiling, reception to roof terrace, and everything in between, in each corner you’ll find a different style, a different concept, a different artist, a different feeling. Art is provided by Raul Moya, Chapter, Solo, Mikey Brain, Snik, Tito from Arteria, William Worrell, Yas Mina and Mr Donka.
The Ace London commissioned 100 artists to create original artworks for each of the rooms and public spaces. The works range from typography and photography to painting and street art. The works by Alexis Diaz, Ben Eine and Anthony Lister are located in public space. If you check into Room 134, you will find the wall covered with a color photograph by Richard Evans. In Room 113, Jonathan Barnbrook has created a large-scale piece inspired by neoclassical Victorian typography, while the walls of Suites 533 and 534 are decorated with Justine Ashbee’s woven textiles in simple geometric patterns.
The country's first luxury art hotel, Le Méridien Chambers Minneapolis features over 200 pieces of original contemporary artwork from the private collection of the hotel's owner Ralph Burnet. You can discover many of these great pieces at the Minneapolis Burnet Art Gallery. Edgy and controversial pieces from the Young British Artist movement can be spotted throughout the hotel. The works are mostly masterpieces from: Gary Hume, Sam Taylor-Wood, Tracy Emin, and Damien Hirst.
Since the opening in November 2011, Bridge Hotel has become a living laneway of expression for Melbourne’s urban art community. From any perch in the venue you can sneak a peak at this beautiful art form – or for a much closer perspective, sit right beside the artist’s work. The laneway canvas includes multi-layered stencils, paper paste-ups and aerosol free-form pieces.
