Being one of the leading art fairs in Europe, Artissima art fair is a perfect place to present an artist’s work for the first time out of his/her home country. This is the case with famous French artist Michel Aubry, who is represented by Eva Meyer Gallery from Paris and Frankfurt. This is not the first time the gallery participates at Artissima art fair. It participated two years ago, and according to Eva Meyer, the gallery plans to be part of Artissima in future as well.
The gallery participates at the Main Section of the fair, presenting the amazing works by Michel Aubry. His work can be found in many public and private collections in France, and this is the first time he is showing abroad. The artist is known for his great artworks created by a wide range of materials, including instrument and cabinet making, costume design and upholstery. Among other, he used Sardinian instrument for the body of work presented at Artissima, which will be certainly recognized by Italian public.
Eva Meyer Gallery is moving to a bigger space in Paris, and is planning new great exhibitions (both solo and group exhibitions). Our senior editor Bojan Maric had a privilege to speak with Eva Meyer herself.
