...and tastes like chicken then it follows it must be.... Elbow toe aka Brian Adam Douglas finishing this new work recently in Brooklyn. We've been loving this guy's work since his solo show in London a couple of years ago. He is a Brooklyn-based artist who has been creating poetic urban art for several years. His street art is humoured, symbolistic and poetic. Primarily executed in woodcut, stencil or large-scale coloured charcoal drawings. His acclaimed gallery work focuses on portraiture with a rye narrative and is primarily executed in collage. These intricate collages might be mistaken for paintings as that they have a fluidity rarely seen in collages. Whether on the street or in the gallery these works mix sketch and collage with an innate sense of fun.
