Widewalls were approached by Splunk, the Californian data mining company to put our urban design flair into their new offices in Shelford Square in Paddington. The new purpose built offices were a far cry from the origins of the companies headquarters in an old salami factory in sunny california. Morgan Lovell the construction firm had given the rather impersonal office space a unique 'outside in' treatment with faux brick walls, domestic front doors for offices as well as quirky Tardis themed presentation suites and train inspired meeting rooms. Widewalls brief was to bring on message urban art onto these surfaces to give it that credible contemporary urban art feel. Widewalls stalwart artists Dotmasters and Zadok took little over a month working at night to install the finishing touches to what became a truly fun environment. We loved Splunks irreverent attitude to strap lines "Taking the sh out of IT" this job proved a lot of fun.
