The exhibition will feature the artwork of some of the most creative and innovative contemporary artists. Among others, the public will be able to enjoy the poetry driven illustrations which C215 leaves deliberately open for interpretation. On the other hand, the power of typography that CYRCLE. use and the explosion of popular art embodied in the artwork of D*Face will challenge the viewer to contemplate the state of the contemporary society. Moreover, at the exhibition, one will be able to ponder the powerful imagery of the late Keith Haring. In addition, on show will be the graffiti and mosaic works of Retna and Invader. Finally, the collages which convey the motives of spirituality and heroism by the artistic duo FAILE will be on show in Chicago. Other respected artists which will be part of the exhibition include Andrew Schoultz, Camille Rose Garcia, Clare Rojas. Cleon PetersonCope2, Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Deedee Cheriel, Dzine, Ernesto Yerena Montejano, Estevan Oriol, Evan Hecox, Gary Panter, HAZE, How and Nosm, James Cauty, Jamie Reid, Jen Stark, Jim Houser, Lee Quinones, Mark Mothersbaugh, Maya Hayuk, Monica Canilao, Neck Face, POSE, Ravi Zupa, Revok, Richard Colman, Ryan McGinness, Skullphone, Stanley Donwood, Swoon, Thomas Campbell, Tim Armstrong, Winston Smith, and WK Interact.

This summer, Chicago will be the stage for some of the leading artists in the field of street and urban art. From July 31st to August 4th 2014, during the Lollapalooza Music Festival, numerous internationally-acclaimed artists will participate in one of the largest exhibitions ever done, Art Alliance Presents the Provocateurs, curated by Shepard Fairey. Shepard Fairey gain acclaim during the 2008 United States presidential election with his design of the Barack Obama poster “Hope”. Fairey was never formally presented as a part of the campaign, due to the large number of street art which was inspired by the artist’s original work. However, the artist had said that he was in constant communication with the officials of the campaign, and that he was asked to redesign the poster only by substituting the word “progress” with the word “hope”. Shepard Fairey is one of the most influential street artists. His work is included in the collections at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, The Smithsonian, the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. By his own words, his work is greatly influenced by the phenomenological approach in philosophy of Martin Heidegger.
