The project by Italian artist Biancoshock titled Seven Deadly Sins is realized within the urban exhibition In Depth organized by Unit 5 Gallery. The concept of the exhibition focuses on the desperate search for success that is afflicting today’s society – and is particularly affecting London citizens. Biancoshock’s intervention denounces the misery this brings and the loss of certain core values. Therefore, by following the seven sins theme, the artist created seven installations in different places around the Shoreditch and Brick Lane area. Every installation consists of a body covered in a white cloth, with red blood spilled on the pavement next to it and the body’s feet sticking out. The cloth is shaped so that a something is spelled out on the body, symbolising the value that has been killed.
