Mascara Social (Social Masquerade)

2016
Mexico

Argentinian street master Bosoletti left a remarkable wall piece somewhere on the streets of Mexico City. Painted on a side of a huge building, the mural titled Mascara Social (translated as Social Masquerade) represents a reflection on the hypocrisy that exists in our society. In the artist’s own words: “We do many things simply because they look good in our social circles but it deprives us of who we really are.”
