Matter: Changing States

2016
Kerala, India

Have you ever wondered on what scale does the climate change impact humans? This particular idea was on the mind of an Ukrainian artist Waone, one half of Interesni Kazki street art duo. With his head boiling and spirit melting under the strong sun od South India, the artist was thinking about changes and interconnection between things, and he remembered that he experienced the coldest winter in Florida ever, in the same year.

Now convinced that climate changes are a fact, Waone painted the mural titled Matter: Changing States in a small town of Varkala, in South India. Constructed from an immense number of black lines, the mural was executed in a style similar to engravings. With its beautiful aesthetic, Waone’s black and white experiment on a wall is a true success.
