Artwork Details :
Circa 1989, the note was written to famed artist Robert Rauschenberg expressing gratitude for comments Rauschenberg made in a 'Los Angeles Times' article concerning the gift of one of his early 'combine' works 'Bed' to The Museum of Modern Art by dealer Leo Castelli. The piece is accompanied by a xerograph copy of the article affixed to the upper right corner that shows a photo image of Rauschenberg smiling.
