Gothenburg 21 Art Competition

The winning submissions of the art competition will be created along a 21km-long stretch running through Gothenburg, from the Blå Stället Culture Centre in the northeast of Gothenburg to the Röda Sten Art Hall by the North Sea in the west. It will include painted art accompanied by lighting in smaller sections. Recruiting youth from the suburbs of Gothenburg where the unemployment is high, the project aims to put them into work and unite the city. During the project that will reinvigorate the suburbs with paint and colors, the participating youth will be trained to become professional painters.
