On Monday, April 13, works by important young artists had been on auction at Phillips auction house in London. The auction was called Under the influence, and it was an opportunity to get your contemporary artworks for fairly reasonable prices. Several artworks were sold for under $1,000, and only one was sold for more than $100,000. In this auction analysis, you’ll find out which lots were the priciest ones, which were sold for much more than expected, and which ones didn’t meet expectations.
