Sotheby's Milan
Giorgio Morandi – Natura Morta (Lot 33), 1953. Estimated at $489,078 – $652,104. The canvas was painted for the artist Leone Minassian, so, this painting can be considered a sort of didactic gift.
Sotheby's Milan

Dating from the middle of the 1960s Red is a splendid and rare example of Bonalumi’s quadri-oggetto series, real three-dimensional sculptures ideated as an extension of painting.
