Urban Art Auctions: Feb 23 – March 1
The urban art auctions this week present several artworks for the small budget. Swann Galleries in New York are hosting their Vintage Poster Sale that includes a rare Jean-Michel Basquiat poster from 1988. The South African auction house Stephan Welz & Co. is presenting artwork by Mr. Brainwash and Takashi Murakami. The lowest estimate for a Murakami starts at €1.345. In Brussels Keith Haring fans can bid on two works by the graffiti pioneer that start at €200 and €400. The upcoming auctions are an ideal chance to get your collection started.
